Does Martin Scorsese have a bromance with Leonardo DiCaprio?

I say the answer is yes! After watching the Departed this is the feeling I kept getting and the image I kept seeing in my mind. Martin Scorsese must have a mega bromance with Leonardo DiCaprio. For those of you out there not familiar with the term, a bromance is like a big boy crush. I guess it could also be described as the male version of BFF (Best Friends Forever). Some guys take it a bit father than others though. MS has put LC in his last three movies. Three in a row! If he were playing tic-tac-toe with another director, lets say like Spielberg for example, Scorsese would be doing the happy/in your face dance around the room to celebrate his victory.

I guess besides pointing out the number of times these to bromancers have worked together I am aslo trying to point out they have worked well together. They both bring out good qualities in the other. Scorsese seems revitalized and has won his first Oscar, like I said yesterday that may not have been the best thing, and DiCaprio does always remind me of that tool from Titanic anymore (I really hate that movie). See it was like when they got together a twinkle came to their eyes. Maybe they both shed a little tear. A small teeny weenie tear from the left eye on Leo and the right eye of Marty. I wish I could have been there for that moment. The only bromance in my mind that must have had a more tear filled meeting was that of Matt Damon and Ben Affelck. Do you think Affleck still has to come over and wax Matt's cars for the Good Will Hunting Oscar? Here is a pic of Matt trying to get a threesome bromance going on.

In conclusion it is easy to see that Martin Scorsese is in a serious bromance with Leonardo DiCaprio. I for one am happy for both parties. Each has benefited greatly from the relationship artistically. I pray that they continue to work together. I never want to see Titanic Leo or Bringing out the Dead Marty again. I shudder at the thought.

Here are a few cute pictures of the boys at work. Look how intense they are together. It warms my heart to see true love like that. The order is Gangs of New York, and the Aviator. Magic I say, pure magic enjoy.

So that's it for today. I am at a Quark training class right now which is boring as hell. I promise a new drawering tomorrow. Maybe I will even post two but let's not get crazy. Have a good one.

p.s. Here is what Marty's Oscar looks like.
